Making the dices

items needed:

clay
inscribing tool (a toothpick will do.)
blue candle

1) while visualizing your ability to accurately tune into your psychic abilities (VERY IMPORTANT), form the clay into 3 small balls of equal size, approx 1 inch in diameter. flatten one ball so that it forms a cube (you may wish to push the side to be flattened against the waxed paper surface)

note: if you don't know what it means by visualizing your ability to accurately tune into your psychic abilities, no worries. i'm sure EVERYONE had a sort of deja-vu experience before? for example, when smth happens, you FEEL as though it has ALREADY happened. i perceive this to be a subconscious thought when one tunes into their psychi ability UNCONSCIOUSLY. if you doubt this, how about remembering a time when you had a strong impulse to DO something and DIDN'T or DID, and found out you should have followed your instinct? visualize those experience as you tuning into your psychic ability. please note that this is just MY perception. magick has very much to do with FEELING. remember that. magick is the counterpart of science.

2) when all six sides have been flattened, lightly smooth the corners so that no sharp edges remain. repeat the same procedure with the remaining 2 balls. all 3 dice should be of the exact same size, and should be as geometrically true cubes as you can manage.

3) with the inscribing instrument, draw the first 4 symbols shown below onto one dice, leaving the top and bottom of the dice blank. inscribe the next 4 onto the second dice, and the last 4 onto the third dice.

4) let the dice dry until hard. to use them, charge a blue candle with psychic awareness and light its wick. hold the dice in your power hand (if you're right-handed, use your right hand. same goes for those who are left-handed), thinking of your question or blanking your mind.

note: it is always easier to think and focus on the question than to blank your mind. to achieve a state where you can blank your mind, alot of meditation is required. so beginners should try the former.

5) roll the dice gently between your hands. gently toss them onto a cloth-covered surface (when dry, these dice are remarkably sturdy but just to be safe.) the symbols visible on the top of each dice determine your possible future.

(1st four symbols from the left row, vertically down. and so on for the next four and the 3rd sets of four.)

The Divination

1,2 or 3 symbols may appear. read them together. for example, the "wealth symbol" next to the "disordered" thoughts symbol could indicate that you're worrying too much about money or that your mind is blocking the arrival of money into your life. if only 1 symbol appears, it is of vital importance. allow the symbol to tell your psychic mind what you need to know. if no symbols appear, try again.

keep in mind your question while studying the dice. with this practice, this can be an easy method of divination.

when you're finished with reading, quench the blue candle's flame. relight it each time you concult the dice. when it's burned out, charge another for this purpose. (try to keep a blue candle just for the use of this set of divination dice. i believe that it would help in your divination and strengthen psychic awareness.)

(NOTE: if after drying, one of the dice virtually always turns up the same symbol, it's unevenly balanced. another should be made.)

okay. a good way to find out whether today or any other day for that matter, is in what lunar phase is to look out your window and look at the moon.

however, a better way would be to download lunabar. this is a program designed specially to determine lunar phases and many other related useful information. it is a must-have for wiccans.

i personally feel an annual magickal almanac is also a staple in a wiccan's inventory. BUT, it is not terribly important.

in this age where technology is omnipresent, online resources are essential as well. besides the main link for college wicca, another useful link to have is one for an occult search engine. it's for more general searches. so to speak. you can find spells all over the internet as a matter of fact.

A spell for valentine's day

a brief note: since valentine's day is coming, i figured i should put up a love spell. this is a simple spell that requires little ingredients and best yet, the ingredients are all easily available.

disclaimer: this spell is taken from the spells bible by Ann-Marie Gallagher. sad to say, i haven't the ability to come up with my own spells yet.

Rose petal spell

purpose:
to help those who are single and ready for true love. it will send out the magical message that you are now ready to settle down with the right person (sorry for the sappy thing going on here. i'm just copying and pft. it's a love spell!)

ingredients:
one red candle (6-8"/15-20cm in length)
matches/ lighter
one quarter wineglass of pure spring water
petals from 6 red roses, placed in a bowl
one fine sewing needle
one 48"/120cm length of fine red cotton sewing thread

timing:
cast this spell on a waxing moon to draw true love towards you. the best day for this spell is friday, day of venus. work after sunset. [it's very very important to cast the spell ON a WAXING moon. NEVER on a WANING moon. it would have an adverse effect.]

casting the spell:
1) cast a circle and visualize it surrounding your entire home.

2) light the red candle saying:
Bright Venus, bless this circle well.
Honor and empower my spell.

3) taking the wineglass in your left hand, hold your right hand palm down over the water, saying:
This water, blessed in purity is blessed by the goddess.
Blessed by me and changed to draw true love to me.

then, sprinkle the water over the rose petals saying:
May the love i receive be as pure as my intent

4) take out three petals, and take the remainder in the bowl to your front door. trail the petals to lead from the doorstep to your bed.

5) double-threading the needle, pierce the remaining three petals at their base to form a rose-petal pendent and necklace. wear it overnight, then keep it under your pillow for one lunar month.

6) thereafter, place your rose petal charm into a natural water source, and await the appearance of your true love.

please note that you must be careful of the timings specified in this spell. one lunar month and no more/less. practice patience when casting the spell. also, if you're not wiccans, you would not know how to cast a circle. please thoroughly know the basics before performing spells. it won't do any good to jump straight away into spell-casting.

P.S.: it's always better if you can use a love spell candle. of course, these are hand-made and i would probably put the instructions for that at a later time.
